Pre-K Program
Getting ready for Kindergarten
Our Pre Kindergarten program is a 3 or 5 day a week program which runs from 8:45am -11:45am. We also offer before care and after care. Students in Kindergarten are expected to learn to read, perform basic math functions, master handwriting, listen attentively for long periods of time and function with ever increasing levels of expectations. Our PreK program is designed to prepare your child for Kindergarten.

Hands-on Learning
Curriculum for our PreK program has been developed from the Michigan Department of Education standards to ensure a successful transition into Kindergarten. Our Lead teacher has a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Developmentally appropriate, hands on learning centers are used to build enthusiasm for school and confidence to solve problems while interacting with peers.
Fostering Success
Through interactive teaching experiences and active discovery, children participate in Language and Literacy, Social Studies, Social/Emotional Development, Gross/Fine Motor Development, Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Art.
In our classroom your child will learn the 40 Pre-Primer sight words, letter sounds, continue their handwriting development with our Handwriting without Tears curriculum, learn early math skills through our Every Day Math curriculum, participate in science experiments, and keep a journal. These are just some of the ways we help foster success in Kindergarten and beyond!
