Preschool Program

Our comprehensive curriculum focuses on 8 content areas. Each month’s theme is incorporated into each of these content areas daily. Our curriculum is aligned with the Plymouth/Canton schools, preparing our students for Kindergarten and beyond.

Preschool

Our Preschool program is a 3 or 5 morning a week program and runs from 8:45am – 1pm. Preschool offers a hands-on, developmentally appropriate environment where purposeful play is the name of the game!

Children learn by doing. Our students learn by playing, creating and exploring the world around us.  Lots of graphs, patterns, stories, games and process art to foster a love of learning!

Play-based learning

At Red Bell Preschool we believe in focusing on the whole child. Our play-based curriculum focuses on all areas of child development. Our teachers break down the curriculum to meet the needs of all children in their class. Each day your child will be exposed to the following skills in a hands-on environment:

  • Pre-math
  • Literacy
  • Art
  • Fine and large motor skills
  • Language and social skills
  • Science and Technology

Program Schedule

9:00 AM to 9:10 AM

  • Morning Gathering…books, songs, calendar, weather, plan for the day

9:10 AM to 10:45 AM

  • Teacher guided learning centers
  • Child guided learning centers
  • Snack / Art / Language / Science / Math

10:30AM to 11:15 AM

  • Outside/Large Motor
  • We use our acre playground as an extension of our classroom and frequently spend more time outside. We take the inside out!

11:15 AM to 11:50 AM

  • Small Groups

12:00pm to 12:30pm

  • Lunch (you provide lunch, we offer pizza on Wednesdays)

12:30pm – 1pm

  • Morning Wrap Up….books, songs, “What we did today”
  • Dismissal at 1pm

Optional Enrichment
Monday – Friday

Enrichment can be added to any program to extend your child’s day to full time care. Red Bell is open 7:00am to 5:30pm.
